Children

There are Sunday School classes (9:45am) for children of all ages. We have a nursery available for babies and toddlers during Sunday School and worship service.

Sunday School - it's the place to be! We have wonderful, caring teachers whose goal is to teach your child about Jesus, God's love and the Bible - and have a good time while learning.

Easter came early this year! We had our fellowship on March 24th including an egg hunt for the kids (divided into two age groups), the Easter story and finishing up with plenty of food and fellowship!

2022 Photos

Our April 10th Fellowship found our children hunting the proverbial Easter eggs on the church grounds. There were some huge prizes for the gold eggs, but every child went home with a floppy new friend. The Easter Story was told with much help from the young listeners! As always, good time, good food, and good church fellowship.

2021 Photos

Our Children's Sunday School Christmas Party was on December 5th and, as you can see, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were treats, hearing about Jesus' birth, gifts, and even reindeer antlers! There are many more "candid" photos on our Flickr site.

2019 Photos

Our Children's Christmas Party on December 8th started with the nativity story, followed by crafts, games, pizza, decorating cupcakes, and ending with gift bags. The kids had a good time! Click here for more pictures.

Our annual Trunk of Treats on Halloween was once again a fun community event. We moved inside due to the cold, windy weather. There were lots of princesses, super heroes, cats, witches, etc. A few are pictured below but there are many more if you click here. The winner of the gift card (and the jar of candy corn) was Rose McGowen.

Our summer Waterslide Fellowship was June 30. The weather cooperated, lots of heat to make the water feel so much cooler! We ate inside at 5:00 and then most of the young ones headed back outside! Look at a few more pics!

Vacation Bible School 2019! From June 3-7 the church was filled with little ones and lots of adults. There was laughter and music, lots of smiles, lots of dancing and fun crafts and games. The Bible lesson each night told how God is good--when life is unfair, when you're afraid, when life changes, when life is sad, and when life is good--God is good! Thanks to the parents in the community who "loaned" us their children for VBS and for the many workers who made it all possible. There are many, many more pictures at this link!

The Easter Party on April 14th was well attended by children, parents and grandparents. Activities included crafts, the Easter Story and, of course, the mad dash for Easter eggs! For more pictures, visit our Flickr page. A church family fellowship followed afterward.

March 25th we had a room full of children enjoying an Easter Party. The traditional egg hunt, of course, along with crafts pertaining to Easter, followed by the telling of the Easter Story.
